Zain Tariq manages a team of research analysts at S&P Global Market Intelligence and produces data-driven research. The team is primarily responsible for providing data insights on the U.S. financial and real estate industries. He has covered the banking space for over eight years including regulatory changes, financial trends, branch footprints, and M&A. Prior to joining S&P, Zain collected experience as a finance officer and accountant for multiple organizations.
Zain completed his ACCA in 2018. In addition to the ACCA, he completed BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in 2011 and MSc in Finance from BPP Business School in 2013.
Adam Schauer

Adam Schauer is an executive banking quant, modeler, and data scientist. He is currently the Director of Analytics at Nomis Solutions, previously JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, NYCB, and KeyBank. He has extensive experience in modeling and analytics development for the pricing, managing, and optimization of banking products and portfolios.
He holds 2 MS degrees from Northwestern University, an MBA from Cleveland State University, and a BA in Economics from The Ohio State University. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional and a member of the International Institute of Forecasters. He is based out of Columbus, OH.
Dan Marks

Dan joined OptimaFI after serving for 5 years as the Chief Marketing Officer at Hancock Whitney where assets increased from $22B to over $30B during his tenure.
Dan’s other experience includes a progression of roles at First Horizon including 5 years as Chief Marketing Officer, head of financial services marketing for a national retailer, and an early stint at Vention in analyst/client services roles. Dan has a BS in Accounting from Belhaven University and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. Dan is frequently asked to speak live or digitally on data driven strategy, digital, and financial services marketing all over the world and has contributed to numerous articles and books. Trey Maust serves as Chief Innovation Officer to guide the FDIC’s work to promote the adoption of innovative technologies within the FDIC and across the financial services sector. Mr. Maust most recently served as Executive Chairman of Lewis & Clark Bank. In addition, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bankevo LLC, a nonbank subsidiary of Lewis & Clark Bancorp, and Chairman of the Board of Lewis & Clark Bancorp. He has also served in several public sector and industry leadership roles including Chairman of the American Bankers Association’s Core Platforms Committee; Bankers Advisory Board Member at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors; and member of the FDIC’s Advisory Committee on Community Banking. Mr. Maust earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration at Portland State University.

At SVB, she also held senior roles in Sales Strategy, Treasury Management Sales Leadership, Card Services, and Merchant Sales and Account Management. Prior to SVB, she spent nearly a decade at Wells Fargo, serving as SVP, Treasury Management Consultant, where she provided companies of all sizes with the solutions to overcome visibility, risk and resource constraints in the Treasury and Cash Management departments. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and will be based in Minneapolis.
